Gibbons says that one of the key changes for the church involves a
change in the criteria we use to describe “success.” NOT to be unkind,
but two previous powerful criteria that we used for a long time were the
number of people who attend worship and the budget givings. Gibbons
suggest some new criteria (p. 62 and 93).
